Dual Power Automatic Transfer Switch: Reliable Power Management for 400V Systems
Designed for robust performance in 400V electrical systems (compatible with both 50Hz and 60Hz frequencies), this Dual Power Automatic Transfer Switch delivers seamless power source management with a rated current capacity of 100A. Engineered to prioritize continuity in critical applications—from commercial facilities to industrial setups—it ensures that your operations stay powered by intelligently switching between primary and backup sources when needed.
Key Specifications
Rated Voltage: 400V (50Hz/60Hz) – compatible with standard high-voltage electrical systems.
Rated Current: 100A – capable of handling heavy loads for diverse industrial and commercial needs.
Switching Time: <2.5 seconds – ensures rapid transition between power sources, minimizing disruption.
Important Note: A brief power interruption occurs during switching, which is standard for this type of transfer mechanism.
Core Functionality
Automatic Mode Operation:
The switch automatically prioritizes the "Normal Power" source (e.g., city grid) under standard conditions. It continuously monitors the status of both power sources:
If Normal Power is active and stable, the switch remains connected to this primary source.
If Normal Power fails (e.g., during an outage) and the Reserve Power (e.g., generator) is available, the switch automatically transitions to Reserve Power to maintain supply.
Note: This switch manages power source selection only and does not control the startup or shutdown of generators. Generator operation must be handled separately.
Manual Mode Control:
For situations requiring hands-on management, simply toggle the switch to "Manual" mode. In this setting, you gain full control to manually select and switch between Normal Power and Reserve Power directions, allowing for intentional overrides during maintenance, testing, or specific operational needs.
